Description

The module Innovative Approaches to Building Defects Solutions focuses on equipping
participants with sustainable strategies and advanced technological tools for addressing building
defects. It comprises two key syllabuses, the first emphasizes the introduction of robust technologies,
tools, and equipment for identifying common defects, highlighting their advantages through case
studies. The second syllabus centers on building defects inspection report writing, covering best
practices for documenting findings and the systematic recording of defects, ensuring clarity and
precision for effective communication and compliance. Through practical exercises and discussions,
learners will develop the skills necessary to implement innovative solutions in real-world scenarios.

Learning Outcomes:
1) identify and utilize advanced technologies. Participants will be able to identify and effectively
utilize various advanced technologies, tools, and equipment for the detection and analysis of
common building defects.
2) Analyze case studies. Learners will demonstrate the ability to analyze and evaluate case
studies that illustrate the successful application of technology in identifying and addressing
